GP State of Emergency success: TFL change fees advice

Following a letter from our GP State of Emergency team, Transport for London have updated their advice to applying for a private hire driver licence to reflect that the charge for a medical exam is to be set by the examining GP.

Their advice had previously said that it was £80, however there is no set fee structure and it is down to individual GPs to charge inline with the time taken to conduct the exam and produce a report. We would like to thank TFL for their positive response to our request.

TFL’s advice can be viewed here and our letter to them can be viewed here.
