Media and public affairs round-up |
|
On 8 May Dr Michelle Drage, our Chief Executive, appeared on BBC London News, speaking about GP workforce shortages, we also arranged the BBC’s filming at a West London practice. On 1 May, Michelle was quoted in Pulse, responding to plans by a London practice to submit a PCN application that covers all of the Capital, Michelle was also quoted in GPonline, the BMJ and Digital Health regarding this story. On 29 April, Dr Seth Dassanayake, chair of Hammersmith and Fulham LMC, was quoted in GPonline, speaking about cuts to extended access services in the borough. On 27 March, Seth spoke to the BMJ about the issue. We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. If you have an example of general practice doing something well which could make a news story please get in touch. We also support practices that are approached with media requests. You can find details here. |
