Dr Nikki Kanani appointed Director of Primary Care for NHS England and NHS Improvement

Congratulations to Dr Nikki Kanani, a Bexley GP, on becoming Director of Primary Care for NHS England and NHS Improvement. At the start of September, NHSE/I confirmed her role as Acting Director of Primary Care would be made a permanent one.

Dr Michelle Drage, Chief Executive of Londonwide LMCs, said: “Congratulations to Nikki from all of us at Londonwide LMCs. She has brought a consistent and reasonable voice to NHS England and is always willing to hear the concerns of frontline GPs."
