2021/22 Flu vaccinations for 50-64 year olds

NHS England has confirmed that 50-64 year olds will receive NHS flu vaccinations in winter 2021.

Practices are responsible for ordering their own flu vaccine stock for this group for the 2021/22 flu campaign, and are advised to buy sufficient volumes of stock to vaccinate at least the same proportion of people from this cohort as last winter, although the aspiration is to improve on last year’s uptake. Buy-back is not available on this stock, so practices are advised to order carefully.

More details are in this letter, dated 1 April 2021. The letter includes figures on the previous flu season’s uptake rates, which are expected to be met or exceeded this year.
