Londonwide LMCs 2021 election nominations complete

Thank you to all those GPs who nominated themselves to stand for their LMC. All constituent GPs should soon receive details of whether their constituency is going to ballot or if the nominees are elected to the LMC unopposed. The latter will occur in cases where the nominees are equal to or fewer than the available places on a given LMC.

New LMC members will take up their places in August, including electing a chair and vice-chair from their members. Co-options of nurse, practice manager and VTS representatives will also take place around this time. VTS may run for election in their own right, so some LMCs may have directly elected GP trainee members.
