We are considering forming a forum for healthcare support workers to exchange best practice and provide mutual support. Tell us if you or colleagues would be interested.

Updated sessional GP pages

Our library of guidance has been updated, giving London sessional GPs a central resource to find information on issues such as pensions, model contracts, IR35 and more.

Winter access case studies

We are looking for examples to highlight how people can access appropriate care from GP practices, wider primary care and other community based services this winter, to feed into an awareness campaign called 'My London GP'.

Media and public affairs round-up

On 9 November, our CEO Dr Michelle Drage was quoted in GPonline supporting calls in Parliament for investment to encourage GP registrations in Putney and on 7 November, highlighting the potential for a winter crisis in general practice. On 23 October, Michelle took part in a panel discussion hosted by the Mayor’s office, with the Mayor and the CEO of NHS England in attendance. On 18 October, Michelle spoke at Best Practice conference about the changes happening in primary care.

We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
