New CQC guidance section for practices

In the past 12 months CQC have visited nearly 400 practices in London and found that:

  • 3 were considered outstanding,
  • 300 were considered ‘good’,
  • 57 required improvement, and
  • 23 were considered as inadequate.

Our GP Support team assists a number of practices in their attempts to improve their CQC rating. The team have pulled together a broad range of guidance for practices to use as well as producing our own guidance on preparing for the 30 minute presentation to the CQC inspection team and how to prepare for the CQC’s fit person interview.

Visit our guidance section now at www.lmc.org.uk/cqc.
