Chairs and vice chairs look at cross-LMC working
Last week’s meeting of Londonwide LMCs’ leaders looked at cross-LMC working, to make sure we are ready to represent members as the NHS brings in new organisations as part of the STP process.
The meeting looked at the challenges London general practice currently faces, including from the national transformation agenda and 'at-scale' provision, accountable care systems (ACS) and the need for more focus at STP level. Recent successes were discussed, including aligning the startegic plan closely to GP needs, keeping PMS funds in general practice and increasing our influence within the health system.
Attendees then looked at what natural groupings of LMCs there are and how working in groups would allow them to better represent their constituents.
