New patient engagement manager joins Londonwide LMCs

A warm welcome to Beryl Cross who has joined Londonwide LMCs as Project Manager for our new project to support practices in engaging with their patients.

The patient engagement project will provide practical support in developing and sustaining an active Patient Participation Group (PPG) and delivery will be shaped by what practices want and need to develop PPGs which benefit practice teams and patients.

A survey will be sent to practices next month (August) asking you to share your experiences of patient engagement and tell us what support would be most useful in developing PPGs that meet and exceeds regulatory requirements. We believe successful PPGs are integral to practice sustainability and want to support practices in building them up.

For further information, if you have questions or comments, or to offer insight into your own PPG, please email patientengage@lmc.org.uk and keep an eye out for the survey in August.
