Registering overseas vaccinations at vaccination sites

On 9 December the Government updated guidance advising patients who wish to add an overseas Covid-19 vaccination to their NHS record to do so by booking a specific type of appointment at a vaccination centre. This is only applicable to vaccinations received abroad that are also approved for use in the UK, by updating these records patients will be able to prove their vaccination status in the same way as those who have received all their jabs in the UK.

The updated guidance can be read here and the booking form for patients is here. At the time of writing, it appears that the only London vaccination site offering the service is Bidborough House at UCLH and very high demand for actual vaccination appointments is restricting availability.

We do not currently have information on which other vaccination sites are planned to offer the appointments or whether there is any intention to commission this service from PCN run sites.
