The NHS turns 68 on 5 July - help us celebrate its achievements

We are keen to highlight the good work that general practice has done since the NHS was formed. Next month we will be celebrating the role of general practice since 1948 by publicising various milestones and achievements.

Contributions from London GPs and practice staff are welcome. Tell us what inspired you to work in general practice or what makes you proud of being a GP or practice team member. Are there any notable achievements or contributions to the NHS that general practice has made? Are there any GPs or other practice leaders who have inspired you in your career?

Help us to highlight the difference general practice has made since the NHS was formed.

Keep an eye on our website, Facebook page and Twitter account where we will be celebrating the history of general practice in the NHS and looking at what the future holds.

Let us know your thoughts by emailing comms@lmc.org.uk and watch out for further news.
