Media and public affairs round-up

image

On 27 March, Dr Seth Dassanayake, Chair of Hammersmith and Fulham LMC, was quoted in the BMJ, speaking about the impact of cuts to CCG spending on local practices. On 26 March, Dr Michelle Drage, our CEO, and representatives of Tower Hamlets LMC were quoted in GPonline, warning about the dangers of practices giving up GP contracts to join an Integrated Care Provider.

We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. If you have an example of general practice doing something well which could make a news story please get in touch. We also support practices that are approached with media requests. You can find details here.

Got a story? Email us at comms@lmc.org.uk.
Deadline for next month's submissions is 15 May.
