Our GP Resilience site has a new BMA template letter for responding to requests to follow up investigations performed in other settings and an update to the template letter to hospital providers regarding follow up of diagnostic test results following a patient’s discharge from hospital.

Practice staff are invited to attend the first in a series of provider development masterclasses hosted by Londonwide LMCs and Healthy London Partnership on Wednesday 4 May.

Clinical work that is sub-contracted from federations is now pensionable and some may be eligible for retrospective contributions.

The London GP Registration for Offenders initiative is one which helps practices deal with the needs of an often vulnerable and challenging group of patients who frequently have difficulty in accessing medical care.

The RCGP has approved a new guide to supporting information for appraisal and revalidation (March 2016) that aims to reduce inconsistencies in the interpretation and streamline the process of providing supporting information for appraisal or revalidation.

Media Round-up
	On 22 March Dr Simon Parton, Chair of Lewisham LMC, contributed to a Pulse piece on how to manage a patient who asks for a homeopathic treatment. On 16 March four members of staff took part in a day-long media training course, with Lawrence McGinty, former health and science editor of ITV news. The communications team have also worked on stories with Sky News, BBC London and numerous trade publications.
