New forum for all practice management roles

Calling all general practice managers, business managers, finance managers, operations managers, and data quality managers.

We’d like to invite you to join our Londonwide Practice Manager Forum.  Previously known as the Practice Manager Leads Forum, this year we are opening the forum to you, who are at the heart of London’s general practice.

For you, this is an opportunity to help shape important decisions made by Londonwide LMCs. And your professional experience and contributions can help to make the forum an even more vibrant and dynamic group.

Londonwide LMCs champions good practice and effective ways of working across the capital, and forum members come together for quarterly meetings to network, discuss and share best practice and experiences, and to receive updates on policy and practice. They also get to hear from interesting and innovative speakers on a range of contemporary and highly relevant topics.

The half-day meetings take place at Londonwide LMCs, in Tavistock Square, London. Please do come and join us. Contact Karen Piddington, Project Manager, Workforce, Training and Innovation Team:  Karen.Piddington@lmc.org.uk

Joint practice manager and general practice nurse for review

On 12 December 40 PMs and GPNs from across London took part in round table discussions, heard insightful presentations, as well as networking with staff from Londonwide LMCs during a joint PM/GPN Christmas networking event.

It was the first time we had brought our lead fora together in such a collaborative way. Feedback has been amazingly positive, and we plan to organise another networking event in December 2019.
