Staying up to date

In order to keep you and your practice colleagues up to date with news and developments in primary care, as well as being able to access practical support and advice, we need to ensure that our records are as up to date as possible.

Since Capita took on responsibility for primary care record services we have stopped receiving information on GPs working in London. It is essential that our information is as up to date as possible. Therefore, practice managers will shortly start to receive data validation emails from us so that we can check that the information we hold on our database about your practice is up to date. Please do respond to these emails when they come through.

We appreciate practice managers have many demands on their time, particularly for updating records, but we are in a period of significant change for general practice in London and up to date records allow us to fully represent GPs and practice teams.

If you are not receiving our monthly newsletter, important email alerts, news of events and more directly we may not have your correct information on file. Please do contact us on brt@lmc.org.uk to update us if this is the case.
