#TipoftheWeek If you are a GMS practice you must offer employment to a salaried GP on a model contract at least as favourable as the BMA model contract. This has now been extended to PMS practices.

2/2 The other contract holders (your partners) will have to sign this request for a further variation in order for you to return. Check your partnership agreement before you take the step of coming off the contract and seek advice from your LMC.

#TipoftheWeek NHS England can terminate your contract if one or more partners leave and they consider that the change is likely to have a serious adverse impact on your ability to carry out your contractual obligations. You will need a business plan to demonstrate succession.

Last updated : 22 Jan 20182/2 Any change in partnership must be notified to the CQC, if the practice is currently single handed then you will need to apply to change the status of the practice from single handed to that of a partnership. You must also notify any change of registered manager to the CQC.
