New supplier – Flu vaccine

The LMC Buying Group has concluded negotiations with flu vaccine companies for the 2016/17 season and can now announce the joint first preferred suppliers for 2016/17 are Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). The second joint preferred suppliers are Mylan (formerly Abbott) and MASTA.

Details of each of the approved suppliers’ offers, including tables describing how profit per dose is calculated can be found in the pages below. More information is available on the Buying Group members website. Members need to log in to access this information. Offers are available while stocks last, so please place your orders at your earliest convenience.

New supplier – emergency oxygen

The emergency oxygen package from Baywater Healthcare has been created to deliver immediate assistance and give you peace of mind in case of an emergency. It is designed to provide a high flow of oxygen for use during resuscitation and to quickly and easily direct the user how to administer lifesaving oxygen until help arrives.

Included in the emergency oxygen package:

  • Portable medical oxygen cylinder with integral valve
  • Adult non-rebreathe mask
  • Tubing
  • Delivery

You can rent the larger B10 cylinder which will last five times longer than the smaller Freedom 400 to allow extra oxygen in an emergency and to save money on frequency of cylinder refills for the same price. Click on the highlighted link to read a product flyer.
