Infection Control Update – 2 March 2016
A second Infection Control Update Workshop had 31 delegates. As it was ‘take your daughters to work’ day, we were pleased to be able to accommodate the daughter of a practice manager. She enjoyed the workshop and thanked us for allowing her to attend:

Some of the things highlighted by delegates included:
- Lots of new information, links and useful documents
- References to get further information
- Awareness of where to find audit tools etc
- Interactive aspects and quiz
- Safe disposal of waste
- Demonstrating with the glitter bug cream, shows just how important it is to follow procedure of hand washing
- Quiz and hand washing
- Going over CQC queries
- I loved the cuddly virus toys
Practice Premises and You – 28 April 2016
This is an essential workshop for GPs with an interest in premises ownership. One-to-one surgeries will be offered by Hempsons for an hour before and after the workshop.
