International Nurses Day 2019
We celebrated International Nurses Day on 12 May by highlighting the contribution of nurses on social media.
Did you know that only 11.4% of registered nurses in the UK are men, and only 2.1% of men work in general practice? It would be good to see more male general practice nurses in the healthcare sphere to help combat the current nursing crisis. #IND2019 #GeneralPractice #malenurse pic.twitter.com/2to2Qz8c9V

"Nursing is not about whether we wear dresses, tunics or scrubs, not whether we wear white, blue or navy; it's about delivering the best care for our patients and their families"https://t.co/ltXgNvxfwI#WhatNursesWear #internationalnursesday
Fun fact: 1/4 of nurses working in general practice have more than 1 job. This brings a broad range of knowledge and skills to general practice.#InternationalNursesDay #GeneralPractice
