Full programme now confirmed for London's key primary care conference
 
The packed programme for our 2016 Annual Conference “We can work it out – powering up London’s primary care workforce” has now been finalised.

Chaired by the “very funny, honest, clever, moving and passionate about the NHS” GP, writer, broadcaster, campaigner and comedian, Dr Phil Hammond, the event also boasts a number of major speakers including:

Dr Michelle Drage, Londonwide LMCs' Chief Executive who will give a presentation on “Meeting the London Challenge”.

Lord Victor Adebowale, Chief Executive of Turning Point who will give a presentation entitled “Wider Determinants of Health”.

Professor Graham Watt, leader of the GP 'Deep End' project in Glasgow will give a keynote speech on “Silver bullets in general practice and primary care”.

Dr Crystal Oldman, Chief Executive of the Queen’s Nursing Institute, will present findings on the practice nursing workforce for London.
 

Dr Ed Diggines, Chair of the Local Federation of GP Practices, will give a presentation called “There is no game, only thirsty people”.

In addition to all of this you can attend workshops in both the morning and afternoon on subjects ranging from 'using technology in general practice' and 'improving your CQC rating' to 'building the clinical team of the future' and 'looking after the homeless in general practice'.

There will also be a series of expert panel discussions, knowledge hubs, hand picked exhibitors, an interactive breakfast session and even a London Mayoral Husting at the end of the day.
