Medical records one-off payment

Practices should have received a £250 payment alongside their contractual payment by the end of June 2017. If you have not received this payment or you have any queries relating to this issue please contact pcse.ppinfo@nhs.net.

The General Practitioners Committee (GPC) negotiated this one-off contribution of £250 to GP practices by NHS England to recognise the additional administrative burden incurred since April 2016 as a result of PCSE providing primary care support services, the payment was originally scheduled for April by was delayed until June.

This payment is in addition to the extra £2 million added to the global sum to account for the additional work of bagging and labelling patient records as the current pilot is extended across England.
