General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – further guidance now available

The Information Governance Alliance (IGA), which includes the Department of Health, NHS England, NHS Digital and Public Health England, is in the process of producing guidance for GDPR ahead of it coming into force in May this year.

It is worth keeping a check on the IGA GDPR website whilst definitive guidance is developed. The latest guidance includes:

Also, the National Association of Sessional GPs (NASGP) have produced their latest newsletter, which includes specific guidance for sessional GPs on GDPR on pages 17-21.
