Join our new Health Care Support Workers Forum

We are excited to announce the launch of our new Health Care Support Workers Forum (HCSW Forum) on Thursday 13 June.

It is our pleasure to invite healthcare support workers, healthcare assistants, assistant practitioners and associate practitioners across London to join in.

The focus of the first meeting will be on career development and apprenticeships, with talks delivered by experts in the field. The aim is for HCSWs from across London to come together twice a year at Londonwide LMCs.

The forum will offer an opportunity to:

  • network with fellow HCSW professionals,
  • discuss and share best practice and experiences,
  • receive updates on policy and practice, and
  • hear from expert speakers.

It is a great chance to learn from each other and to raise issues with LLMCs, and to feed into our Practice Manager Forum and GPN Forum.

The first meeting takes place on Thursday 13 June from 2-4pm (with light refreshments), at Londonwide LMCs’ offices in Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9LG.

If you are interested in becoming a forum member please contact: karen.piddington@lmc.org.uk.
