LMC elections 2020 – make your voice heard

It’s LMC election time again at Londonwide LMCs!

This year every LMC seat is up for election. Any GP working in one of the 27 London boroughs we represent may stand for election regardless of their contractual status. Serving on your LMC can be a worthwhile and rewarding role. We particularly welcome nominations from those GPs who are under-represented on current LMCs.

The important dates for your diary are:

Nomination packs issued:

Week commencing 27 April 2020

Close of nominations:

Thursday 4 June 2020 (12.00 pm)

Voting papers issued:

Monday 22 June 2020

Close of voting:

Monday 13 July 2020 (12.00 pm)

Publication of results:

Monday 20 July 2020

Remember that we will need your up to date contact details in order for you to stand and vote to make your voice heard. The minimum data we require for each GP who wishes to stand and/or vote is the area/borough of London you work in, the name of the practice(s) you currently work at, your GMC number, and a current email address.

If you think your details need updating, you do not receive regular emails from us, or you know of any GPs who may not be receiving our updates (whether they are a partner, employed, locum, new entrant or trainee GP) contact us on brt@lmc.org.uk.

For more information on how we handle your data, please see our privacy notice.

If you want to know more, please contact lmcelections@lmc.org.uk and look out for further information in forthcoming newsletters and emails.
