Londonwide LMCs' Buying Group - MIAB

Caring for those that care the most - expert insurance from MIAB

It would be easy to think of MIAB as 'just' another insurance broker. As one of many in the healthcare sector we have to work hard to earn - and keep - your trust.

When we thought about what we do and why we do it, we realised something special: all of our customers have made it their goal to care for and help others.

We know you face unique challenges, and insurance probably isn’t high on your list, but we want to make your life easier.

From receptionists to federations, we have one aim: to care for those that care the most.

Caring for London

As the approved supplier of insurance services to Londonwide LMCs' Buying Group, MIAB is proud to provide London-based customers with bespoke insurance, expert advice and access to competitive rates for commercial and personal insurances.

Whether it's protecting your business through Locum and Surgery Insurance, protecting your liabilities through Medical Malpractice and Indemnity Insurance or protecting your family and lifestyle with Income Protection, Life Insurance, and Home, Travel or Motor Insurance, MIAB has the expertise and access to policies to help.

Personal Protection

For example, our Specialist Personal Protection Adviser, Paula Storey (who you may have met at Londonwide LMCs’ annual conferences), specialises in Personal and Business Protection, including Income Protection, Partnership Protection, Critical Illness Cover and Life Insurance.

Paula offers a free review service to assess if your existing policies are still suitable. After assessing your demands and needs, she will explore the market on your behalf to source bespoke quotes, and process all the paperwork. Based on her expertise, she will then talk through the most suitable policy for you.

For example, Dr B contacted Paula to discuss her options when she needed to source Life Insurance and update her Income Protection.

"Working around Dr B's busy schedule, we were able to discuss requirements over the telephone with two phone calls within one afternoon", said Paula. Working directly with underwriters at several blue chip insurers, Paula presented a range of solutions.

"This was all dealt with quickly and professionally by Paula," said Dr B. "My Income Protection was cheaper and for more cover than I had at the time." Describing Paula, she added, "It was an easy, stress-free experience and I would recommend her service."
