Provider development event round-up
Londonwide LMCs, in collaboration with Healthy London Partnership co-hosted an event on 4th November at the Kia Oval attended by over 100 representatives from emerging GP Provider Groups, CCGS and education providers. The event informs a programme of ongoing support for emerging GP provider organisations across London, including:
- Development of strategic and delivery partnerships to support developing GP groups.
- Regular updates on developing NHS policy, strategy and plans, including options, risks and opportunities for emerging groups.
- Development of arrangements to support shared learning and peer support between GP provider groups across London, at SPG and also at Borough/CCG level.
- Practical guidance and workshops on priority topics, including leadership, procurement, financial planning and workforce development.
- Work with commissioners to enable continued support for GP providers, and ensuring NHS commissioning supports increased expectations on more services being provided within Primary Care.
- Engagement and awareness raising where there is lower/limited engagement with developing GP Provider Groups.
There was overwhelming support at the conference for the proposed package, details of which will be developed and shared with GP provider groups shortly. If you have any queries please contact:
