Special Conference of English LMCs – 11 March 2020

Representatives from your LMCs and those across the rest of England will meet in London on Wednesday, 11 March to discuss the 2020/21 GP Contract. The conference was called following a vote by the GPC to allow LMCs “to consider the outcome of negotiations and action the profession should take.”

LMCs are currently submitting motions before the deadline on Friday 21 February. However, as constituent GPs and practice staff we encourage you to feedback to Londonwide LMCs and your local LMC about what you believe the implications of the new Contract to be for your practice and/or PCN. Your conference reps find it really useful to have live examples from their constituents of what they believe will work or not work in a contract.

We can be contacted via info@lmc.org.uk.

We will provide you with a summary of the motions carried and notable contributions to the debate in our next newsletter.
