GPC regional election nominations 2017
Nominations are open for the round of GPC regional elections to cover terms from 2017-20, in London two seats are up for election:
- Hillingdon, Brent, Harrow, Ealing, Hammersmith and Hounslow
- Lewisham, Southwark, Lambeth, Bexley, Greenwich and Bromley
The current incumbents for these seats are Dr Michelle Drage and Dr Stewart Kay: Michelle is standing for re-election to Hillingdon, Brent, Harrow, Ealing, Hammersmith and Hounslow; Stewart is not seeking re-election.
Outside London the following seats are being contested:
- Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield
- Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire, and Dorset
- Berkshire and Hampshire
- Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire
- Cheshire and Mid Mersey
- Dyfed Powys and North Wales
- Gloucestershire and Avon
- Greater Glasgow
- Leicestershire and Rutland, and Northamptonshire
- North Staffordshire, South Staffordshire and Shropshire
- North Yorkshire and Bradford and Airedale
- Northumberland, Newcastle and North Tyneside, Gateshead and South Tyneside, and Sunderland
- Sandwell, Walsall, Wolverhampton and Dudley
