HR in general practice: recruitment and selection
Londonwide LMCs recently ran a recruitment and selection workshop for GPs and practice management colleagues. The day was full of lively discussion as delegates considered all aspects of the recruitment and selection process, focussing particularly on how to enhance the effectiveness of the selection process while avoiding litigation risks. There were specific case studies about how to meet CQC expectations about employment practice.
Delegates particularly valued sessions on developing interview structures and developing effective interview and assessment techniques as well as group work and discussions.
A follow-up session on Employment Contracts and Employment Problems will be run on Wednesday 19 July 2017.
Hold the date: our annual Practice Manager Conference will take place on Wednesday 22 November 2017.
