Media and public affairs round-up

image

On 14 July, Dr Michelle Drage, our CEO, was quoted in a Guardian article on abuse of practice staff. The article also used anonymous examples passed to us by practices. On 14 and 13 July, Michelle was quoted in Pulse and GPOnline about the risk of relaxing mask wearing requirements in practices. On 9 July Michelle spoke to GPOnline about London practices and their PCNs’ problems recruiting to ARRS roles.

We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on TwitterFacebook and LinkedIn. If you have an example of general practice doing something well which could make a news story please get in touch. We also support practices that are approached with media requests. You can find details here.

Got a story? Email us at comms@lmc.org.uk.
Deadline for next month's submissions is 11 August.
