Minor surgery including DOPS refresher course – one day course: 10 February at the Medical Society of London

This one day course designed by GPs, plastic surgeons, dermatologists and GPwSIs offers training in skin lesion recognition, advanced wound closure techniques as well as DOPS assessments for those practitioners who carry out fewer than 100 procedures a year. The course is made up of nationally recognised content, designed in consultation with NHS England to allow practitioners to fulfil the requirements for the 2014 minor surgery DES. The course provides interactive sessions, one on one observational assessment and training, high tutor to delegate ratio, take home suture kit, 160 page training manual, high quality training videos and comprehensive post course online support.
