Practice Managers’ Blended Learning Programme
Londonwide LMCs are delighted to be launching a brand new blended learning programme for general practice managers at the Practice Manager Conference taking place this November. The innovative course, which has been accredited by the Royal College of General Practice, is aimed at those who are entering general practice for the first time, those wishing to update their skills following a break, those on a career path within a practice or those who are managers in another field and are looking to follow a career in practice management.
The course is unique in that it has been written by senior practising practice managers, general practitioners and topic specialists and will be taught by practice manager educators. The content of the course will cover everything a practice manager needs to know; including human resources, financial planning, data protection, leases and premises, health and safety, patient engagement and much more.
The six-month programme will consist of access to online training, three face to face taught days, tutor support and a competency framework supported by a Practice Manager Mentor. There is also a programme manager who will support students with their day to day enquires.
If you are interested in the Practice Manager Training Programme and would like some more information please contact Ann Ayamah at ann.ayamah@lmc.org.uk.
