Media and public affairs round-up |
|||
OnOn 17 March Dr Jackie Applebee, Chair of Tower Hamlets LMC, was quoted in an Evening Standard article on practices being asked for patient details by the Home Office. On 19 March Londonwide LMCs were quoted in an HSJ report on how a Bablyon-powered pilot was not commissioned in Southwark, following concerns raised by local GPs including the LMC. Representatives of Ealing, Hammersmith and Hounslow LMC and Hammersmith and Fulham LMC have provided briefings to medical trade press on the challenges new delivery models pose to general practice funding. We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. We also support practices that are approached with media requests. You can find details of how to get support here. |
