Pants and socks winter appeal 2016

Update 14 December 2016: Thank you to all those who have contributed so far, we were able to take our first donation of pants and socks to the Doctor Hickey Practice on 13 December (pictured). We are still collecting if you have not yet given and would like to.

We will once again be collecting pants and socks for the Doctor Hickey Surgery in Westminster, a specialist practice who only treat homeless patients. Their rough sleeping patients are in desperate need of many things we all take for granted – such as clean underwear and warm socks.

If you would like to know more about the work of the Doctor Hickey Surgery you can read Dr Paul O'Reilly's blog, which he wrote for our newsletter last winter. 

If you would like to make a contribution please send or bring pants and socks to the Londonwide LMCs offices. If this is not convenient we can also pass on gift cards for stores which sell these items. The Doctor Hickey Surgery treats both male and female patients, although the majority are male.
