The General Practice Nurse online programme is now Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) accredited!

Londonwide LMCs’ GPN Online Training Course has been accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP). Developed from WIPP  (Working in Partnership Programme), the GPN Online Training Course was first launched by Londonwide LMCs in 2010, supported by Professor Sue Cross, Sue Crossman and Suzie Clements.

This course is recognised as a value for money resource that allows general practice nurses to learn at their own pace. The programme is essential for any new general practice nurse, as well as a useful refresher, providing introductory level learning resources and self-assessment questionnaires across a range of topics.

The course is comprised of eight units that also offer two exclusive taught days, tailored online tutorial support and student forums costing £450 plus VAT per student. Further information on the content can be accessed via the website.

We can also offer discounts to block bookings and ensure that taught days are held more locally where organisations or groups of nurses wish to purchase it for a number of practices in a local area.

Please contact Helen Musson, Primary Care Strategy Executive, hmusson@lmc.org.uk for further information.
