Mandatory data collection deadlines October 2016

Practices are required to complete their submissions for the workforce minimum data set by midday on 26 October the new biannual extended access data return by 31 October.

Biannual extended access pilot

This module will be made automatically available to GP practice staff that currently have the ability to submit mandatory data returns via the NHS England Primary Care website.

If you are a new practice manager or partner and require access, please ensure you have registered to use the primary care website here and contact your NHS England regional team to request relevant access.

Further guidance is available on the NHS England website. Questions about the data collection itself, for example clarification of the survey questions, should go to england.gpaccess@nhs.net.

Workforce Minimum Data Set

This collection captures data about the GP practice workforce as it was on 30 September and any absence and vacancies between 1 April and 30 September 2016. Questions about the workforce minimum data set collection should go to NHS Digital: enquiries@nhsdigital.nhs.uk.
