Media and public affairs round-up |
|
On 21 June, Dr Michelle Drage, our CEO, was quoted in a GPOnline story about equality and diversity on LMCs. On 31 May, Michelle was quoted in an Independent story on how pressures on GPs mean many have opted out of the second phase of the Covid vaccine programme. We are continuing our general practice is open campaign, with the latest video shared on social media this month. 5 August is Cycle to Work Day, we are collecting photos of general practice staff out and about on their bikes to highlight the importance of being active, if you would like to send us a photo please do via info@lmc.org.uk. We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. If you have an example of general practice doing something well which could make a news story please get in touch. We also support practices that are approached with media requests. You can find details here. |
