It’s election year at Londonwide LMCs - make your voice heard

This year every LMC seat is up for election.

Any GP working in one of the 27 London boroughs we represent may be nominated for election regardless of their contractual status. We particularly welcome nominations from those GPs who are under-represented on current LMCs.

As Dr Hannah Theodorou, a sessional GP member of Waltham Forest LMC says, serving on your LMC can be a worthwhile and rewarding role.

“I would recommend that sessional GPs in particular stand for election to their LMC. Being an LMC member is useful for engaging with local GPs and organisations, whilst making sure that the sessional voice is represented. Being a member of my LMC has helped so much in my personal development, particularly my leadership skills.”
