Discriminatory language and behaviour in the workplace

In light of wide-ranging debate following an interview with a surgeon who had a patient ask not to be treated by him because of his ethnicity, we are asking you to share experiences of racism in your role.

Pre-election period

Practices should be mindful of the pre-election period rules (known as ‘Purdah’) which require NHS bodies not to make politically sensitive announcements before the general election in 12 December.

Conference of England LMCs

The Conference of England LMCs is on Friday 22 November, three motions are being proposed by LMCs from London. Two of these relate to PCNs and one to GPs placed under conditions.
