Latest LMC workforce survey - please complete our short survey by Friday 17 December 2021
We have extended the closing date of our workforce survey to 17:00 on Friday 17 December, in recognition of the substantial time pressures on practices. Please do still take 10 minutes to complete it if a representative of your practice has yet to do so. GP partners and practice managers should have an email in their inbox reminding them that the survey is still open.
This iteration of the survey includes questions on abuse of practice staff, which will be helpful for our work raising this issue and the underlying ones of resources versus demand with health and political leaders in London.
It is the twelfth such survey we have had conducted via polling company ComRes. The data gathered from previous workforce surveys has been used in a number of ways to support our work advocating for you, including:
- Explaining to MPs, Councillors and other leaders how the workforce crises impacts on general practice capacity, including meetings in recent weeks specifically to discuss abuse of staff against the background of shorthanded working.
- Being invited to submit evidence to Parliamentary committee enquiries.
- Securing coverage in national media of the challenges you face.
