Media and public affairs round-up

image

London’s imminent GP retirement crisis and the capital’s ongoing GP State of Emergency were highlighted in a BBC London report. An interview with Londonwide LMCs' Chief Executive Dr Michelle Drage was broadcast and a piece appeared on the BBC’s website. Dr Drage’s call in her latest MWord for practices to encourage patients to vote was followed up by GPOnline. Michelle has also written to all newly-elected MPs in London.

We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. We also support practices that are approached with media requests, you can find details of how to get support here.

Deadline for next month's submissions is 12 July.
