Media and public affairs round-up

image

On 11 July Dr Elliott Singer our Medical Director for North East London spoke to WIRED magazine about plans to provide NHS health advice via Amazon’s Alexa smart speaker. On 1 July Dr Michelle Drage was quoted in Pulse and GPonline saying primary care networks should not be made solely responsible for the survival of the partnership model, in response to a statement in NHS England board papers. On social media we celebrated Pride month, including sharing our charity bake sale.

We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. If you have an example of general practice doing something well which could make a news story please get in touch. We also support practices that are approached with media requests. You can find details here.
