Covid-19 antiviral pilots

The Government announced this month that thousands of the UK’s most vulnerable people will be among the first in the world to access a new antiviral treatment for Covid-19, Molnupiravir.

Media and public affairs round-up

On 2 December we briefed the HSJ and The Guardian on how GPs are going to handle the Omicron variant and the capacity available in general practice. On 2 December we also briefed The Observer on vaccine hesitancy and capacity.
On 16 December Dr Michelle Drage, our CEO was quoted in the Independent on the reprioritising of GP services in response to the growth of the Omicron variant.
And on 26 November Michelle was quoted in GPOnline's coverage of the LMC Conference debate on negotiating a new core contractand Dr Lisa Harrod-Rothwell, our Deputy CEO was quoted in Pulse’s coverage of the same debate.
