Media and public affairs round-up |
|
On 21 March, Dr Marek Jarzembowski, Chair of Merton LMC, was quoted in the Observer emphasising the importance of getting vaccinated in a feature looking at the political battles over vaccine supply and regulation. On 8 March we celebrated International Women’s Day by sharing some interesting facts on social media. Thank you to all those on LMCs and in practices who have provide information to the communications team over recent weeks, this has been invaluable in briefing journalists from The Guardian, HSJ, The Times and other outlets. We continue to be very active in promoting the interests of London GPs and practice staff on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. If you have an example of general practice doing something well which could make a news story please get in touch. We also support practices that are approached with media requests. You can find details here. |
